The clean-up of the KNSF site in Muiden is in full swing. Explosive materials are regularly detected by ECG and detonated in a controlled manner by the explosives clearance service (EOD). Often, the explosions are small and the bangs not very loud. Some explosive materials, however, cause a large explosion with a loud bang. Of course, there is no danger for residents. The EOD takes measures to reduce the size of the explosions.

(Small) explosions will be heard regularly in the coming months. The next explosions are scheduled for Monday 3 April, Wednesday 5 April and Thursday 6 April 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00. Possibly Friday 7 April will be added.
